Outside of other responsibilities, I enjoy strategy board games, history, and philosophy. I was homeschooled along with my one brother Ben by my mom and my dad, who is an elder at Marantha, and am currently in my final year studying mechanical engineering at Grand Valley State University. Currently, I am working at Koops Factory Automation Systems, a fairly small company, which produces custom manufacturing equipment.

My desire is to serve the bride of Christ in whatever capacity I can. Pray that I may continue slaying love of worldly things and take no pride in what God has freely given. I have been attending Maranatha for five years and had been planning to attended The Master’s Seminary upon completion of my engineering degree, but since learning of TES, I have decided to pursue a seminary education where I can continue to be discipled by a church and elders who already know me well. One verse that captures much of my current spiritual mindset is Galatians 6:14: “But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”
